Dress Like a French Woman

A Parisian-inspired one-page style guide for effortless, everyday dressing.

  • You can book a DRIVER to meet and pick you up at the airport. Try WELCOME PICKUPS or Victor Cabs. I tend to prefer Victor Cabs but either service is great. A driver would be the way to go if this is your first time in Paris. If needed, you can request an English-speaking driver and easily make a reservation online.
  • TAXIS are prevalent all throughout Paris and available at the airport. There are taxi stands outside the baggage claim area. Make sure you go to the designated Taxi stands with a sign. Don’t let anyone tell you they are a taxi driver and go with them. There is a flat fee depending on where you are going. The right bank (right side of the Seine) will be 53 euros and the left bank (left side of the Seine) will be 58 euros. Make sure to have euros(cash) on hand to pay for the taxi.
  • UBER is available throughout Paris and operates the same way you’re used to. I use Uber every time I go to Paris for one reason or another.
  • For a more economical way, you can take the TRAIN from the airport to Paris. You will follow the signs to the RER B train, which takes about 25-35 minutes (depending on where you’re going) to the city center. You would then take the metro/taxi/uber to your final destination. Personally, I would only do this if you have a backpack or tiny luggage that you don’t mind carrying up and down stairs and walking with.
