Inspired by classically chic French women who value quality over quantity, La Vie On Grand, which was created to help you feel effortlessly elegant- at any age.

Here you can expect to find French-inspired fashion, my favorite Paris spots, travel tips, and a glimpse into the magical ladies’ retreats I host throughout France.

I'm so happy you're here.

As a true Francophile, I’m deeply inspired by the French way of life from fashion to décor, cuisine, & beauty.

French women, in particular, influence my approach to style with their effortless ability to create chic, timeless looks.

I admire their philosophy of buying less but choosing well, investing in quality pieces that become wardrobe staples for years.

Through La Vie On Grand, I aim to inspire women over 40 to embrace classic essentials, step away from fleeting trends, and cultivate that elusive je ne sais quoi. You’ll also find tips and insights on traveling to Paris and throughout France, from must-see destinations to local favorites, so you can experience the magic of Paris and France for yourself.

i adore :

in paris looks like

perfect day

It always starts in my favorite neighborhood, Saint-Germain-des-Prés. I wake up slowly and head to one of my favorite cafés for a café crème and a fresh croissant. From there, I wander into Le Bon Marché and Sézane for a little shopping, then let the day unfold as I get lost walking through Saint-Germain’s charming streets and hidden shops.

In the afternoon, I stop at the Luxembourg Gardens to people-watch, sit quietly, and enjoy the peace and rhythm of Parisian life. That evening, I head to La Petite Chaise for a classic French dinner, soaking in the ambiance with a glass of champagne. Afterward, I’ll stop at a café for a glass of wine with the locals before taking a long, unhurried walk back to my hotel.

uniform

Parisian

A blazer layered over a sweater or blouse, a pair of wide-leg “mother” denim, and boots. I always add a silk or wool scarf depending on the season, my Céline crossbody bag, a simple pair of earrings, red Chanel lipstick, and Céline sunglasses. It’s effortless, timeless, and always feels pulled together without trying too hard.

fashion rule

Timeless pieces over trendy—every time. Classic always wins. I believe in investing in quality pieces you’ll wear for years, not just a season. French style isn’t about having more; it’s about choosing better.

Ror me, living a French lifestyle isn’t about where you live; it’s about how you live. It’s slowing down, savoring small rituals, and taking pride in the everyday. Whether it’s getting dressed with intention, enjoying a simple meal, or carving out moments of beauty and calm in your routine, French living is about choosing quality, presence, and joy; no matter the city you call home.
