Sézane Fall Pieces To Add This Autumn

8 Sézane fall pieces to add to your collection now that will carry you throughout the season.

The French brand Sézane has become one of my go-to brands over the years for many reasons, but especially during fall and autumn and these are the Sézane pieces to wear this fall.

Many of these pieces are ones I’ve had and worn for years. Sézane pieces are timeless, classic, and oh-so Parisian.

I love the way Sézane will take a very classic French staple and add a twist with a special detail or eye-catching color.

Some of the Sézane pieces for fall are investment items but these will be ones you will be wearing for years to come and so happy you made the initial investment.

For reference, I am 5 ft. 5 1/2 inches and usually a small or medium in tops and 6 in bottoms.

Scott Trench

My absolute favorite trench and one I wear pretty much year round especially as a layering piece in fall and autumn is the Sézane Scott Trench.

The Scott Trench is the best trench coat I have ever owned. The quality of the trench is amazing and you can instantly tell when you put it on the first time.

It’s a great length, has a removable belt, and keeps you warm from the elements.

I’ve owned many trench coats over the years and none of them have been as great of quality as this one. I sized up to the U.S. size 8 and French 40 because I want to wear sweaters underneath.

Every time I wear this trench, I get so many compliments. The trench is a true camel color so a bit darker but looks great with everything.

James Coat

The James coat is a new purchase this fall and I couldn’t love it anymore. I am also one who never turns down a gorgeous-looking navy coat.

The gold buttons on this coat are what stand out to me, they add a bit of detail. You can either dress the coat up or down.

The James is a double-breasted coat with a shawl collar, mostly wool, and lined which I always appreciate in a coat.

I actually sized down on this coat to a 4, which is surprising because most of the time I will go up with a Sézane coat. So far, this might be my absolute fall favorite from Sézane.

I can still wear a sweater underneath but it’s a bit more fitted this way. If you want to wear a sweater underneath and still want a lot of room, then you might want to size up.

Johnson Coat

The Johnson Coat is such a classic and timeless piece. I have it in Navy and did size up to an 8 so I could wear sweaters underneath. I love the length and structure of the coat. It doesn’t have pockets so keep that in mind if that’s something you want. The Coat also comes in several other colors but I love the elegant look of the Navy.

Will Jacket

The Will jacket is one of those workhorse jackets that go with everything. I bought the camel suede version in Paris one year because I don’t own anything else like it.

I have the jacket in a small and it fits nicely with short sleeves under the jacket. For tops, I’ve worn silk, striped, and eyelet under the jacket. For bottoms, I’ve worn light and dark denim as well.

Trudy Jumper

This year, I purchased the Trudy Jumper in the ecru/navy color in a medium because I like my sweaters to be a bit more relaxed looking.

The Trudy Jumper is mohair and wool so if that sort of fabric bothers you at all, then maybe this one isn’t for you. It doesn’t bother me at all but I usually wear a cami or tank underneath as well.

Like the James Coat, the gold button detail also stuck out to me because it elevates the sweater a bit, it’s not just another striped sweater.

Every fall I always add a stripe to the mix because I don’t think you can ever go wrong. Sézane always seems to have my favorite stripes.

Austin Trousers

The Austin Trousers are great classic work pants with the perfect ankle length. They are more of a paper bag fit but are very comfortable. I am wearing them in a size 6.

The trousers come with a tie belt but I have also used them without this belt. These are high-waisted trousers with a more tapered ankle look.

I loved the first pair in black so much that I also purchased the charcoal pair as well.

Farrow Bucket Bag

The Farrow is my first actual bucket bag and I love it so much. I bought it in Paris in April and have used it nonstop since. The leather is gorgeous and it hasn’t scratched at all.

The bag also doesn’t feel heavy even though it’s leather, and is easy to carry around. It comes in 3 different sizes and I am carrying the middle size.

I thought maybe I would just use this bag during Spring and Summer but the rich caramel shade goes beautifully with so many of my fall pieces.

Michele Jacket

The Michele jacket is so classic and a beautiful shade of Navy. It’s a longer blazer with gold detail buttons and feels incredible. The jacket is more of a Fall/Winter jacket in my opinion and does run a little large. I ended up exchanging it for a smaller size and am wearing a size 6.
