Relais Christine Hotel In Saint Germain
One hotel that has always been on my list of places to stay in Paris is the Relais Christine Hotel in Saint Germain.
During the last Paris Fall Retreat, I stayed in Paris for a few extra days to stay at this luxury hotel.
The hotel is tucked away on a quiet street on the left bank of Saint Germain and one that could easily be overlooked if you didn’t know it was there.
That’s part of the beauty of this Parisian address, which draws visitors to its location.
Nestled in a historic 17th-century mansion, the hotel features stylish rooms, a private garden, and a spa by Guerlain.
Upon entering you are greeted by the welcoming and friendly staff. Behind the front desk is a beautiful sitting room with an honor bar for apéro and a cozy fireplace.
In the morning, enjoy the wonderful breakfast buffet, as it’s one of the best I’ve experienced.
Location Of The Relais Christine
The Relais Christine Hotel is located at 3, rue Christine 75006, in the heart of Saint Germain, right on the edge between the 5th and 6th and in a perfect location easily accessible to all the main sights.
Although the street is incredibly quiet and there isn’t much traffic, the area around the hotel is lively, full of charming cafés, delicious restaurants, and several metro stops.
Right next door to the hotel is one of my favorite restaurants, Chez Fernand, and I highly recommend making a reservation here for dinner.
There is also a cinéma located directly across from the hotel that can get quite busy, but the hotel has its own separate entrance tucked away, so the noise isn’t an issue.
The Rooms At The Relais Christine Hotel
There are 48 rooms at the hotel, each one unique and different. Yet, they all possess that Parisian charm and chic taste for decor. I stayed in one of the Superior Rooms on the bottom level.
Although on the first floor, the room had a huge window that opened up to the courtyard and was surprisingly very quiet.
The room decor is tastefully decorated with antiques and beautiful bold tapestries and wallpaper. A large separate space has an ample closet, a safe, and a refrigerator. Plus, a Nespresso machine for coffee in the morning.
One of my favorite features about the room is how comfortable and plush the bed and bedding felt. It was a dream to sleep in, and so comfortable and cozy. This room had a queen bed, which is quite lovely for Paris hotels, but you can also request two twin beds.
Amenities In The Room
Besides the room’s coffee maker and refrigerator, several amenities are included with your stay. There’s free WiFi and a private bar, and this specific room also came with a desk.
In the gorgeous bathroom with marble flooring, you will find Diptyque bath products, plus a separate bathtub and shower.
Guerlain Spa
One afternoon, I enjoyed an incredible massage and facial at the hotel’s Guerlain spa. If you have time to enjoy yourself here, I highly recommend booking.
You can do it yourself or ask the front desk to book. I emailed the concierge ahead of time, and they booked for me.
There is also a spa and sauna area you can enjoy when you’re a guest of the spa for the day.
If you’re looking for a luxurious boutique hotel nestled in the heart of the left bank, then the Relais Christine Hotel should be on your list. This is one hotel I would definitely stay at again.
