Holiday Chic With J.Crew
With the holidays right around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about what to wear to look chic, timeless, and classic this holiday season, and I will be doing that with pieces from J.Crew.
Plus, add a bit of fun to your outfit because the holiday season is all about sparkle, shine, and lots of celebrating.
What To Wear For The Holidays
When I think about what I like to wear for the holidays, I always stick with my main philosophy of classic pieces which can be carried over for many seasons. The holiday pieces J.Crew has this year fall into this philosophy.
Personally, I love sequins, fairisle sweaters, faux leather pants, and festive holiday bags. Add a little sparkle of jewelry and you will have the perfect chic holiday outfit.
My Holiday Outfit
Here’s one of my outfits I am wearing this holiday season featuring pieces from the new J.CREW holiday collection.
I am wearing the Fair Isle Crewneck Sweater in a size small, it does run a bit large, along with the Sequin Mini Skirt. I did size up the skirt after reading reviews it ran large, however, it was actually too large for me. So, I would stick with your normal size unless you think going up would be better.
Wearing the print of the Fair Isle Sweater along with the mini skirt gives an elevated look yet still keeps it festive and casual. You could also wear a black turtleneck with a sequin skirt if you want more of a monochromatic look.
J.Crew has amazing coats and this topcoat is no exception, I sized it down as it’s oversized. This coat is classic, very polished, and incredibly elegant. It’s the perfect coat to dress up or down for the holiday and winter seasons.
I rounded out the outfit with these tall Stevie Boots, which have become a quick favorite this season, I am wearing my normal size. I added this fun handbag to add some texture and drama and also this chunky bracelet.
