French Fridays
I am excited to share a new series with you, French Fridays. This is French Fridays week 9 where I am sharing everything French that Iāve loved the past week in style, food, beauty, finds, and favorite places in Paris to know.
French Style
Love this layered look for fall and autumn with a striped top, cozy sweater over the shoulders, straight-leg denim, cream bag, and mules.
This is especially a great look as we transition between seasons, the relaxed look of the striped top and sweater in case it gets cool.
French Recipe
When you are in need of a simple yet delicious salad dressing, try Ina Garten’s Vinaigrette dressing for your green salads. I’ve made this a few times this week at lunch with different salads and it’s so tasty and requires a few ingredients.
I save all my old Bonne Maman glass jars, make my dressings there, and then store them. Add some baby greens and a drizzle of the dressing and you’re all set.
French Finds
J.Crew is doing a collaboration with Parisian designer Marie Marot, the pieces are very menswear inspired but I am loving the chicness of the pieces. They are a bit pricey in my opinion for J.Crew but I still love the look. They definitely captured the Parisian look for sure.
My favorite pieces are this navy blazer, stripe top, chambray top, wool navy pants, silk scarf, and loafers. So chic and classic looking. You could wear the blazer and striped shirt with a pair of relaxed pants or denim for a polished weekend look.
French Beauty
I went to Nordstrom this week looking for some new concealer and ended up with ClĆ© de Peau BeautĆ© which is the Cadillac of concealers. It’s pricey but wow, what a difference it truly makes. I will use it right under my eyes to cover dark circles.
I also picked up this CHANEL eyeshadow quad, I have been looking for some new everyday colors for fall. The palette I have is 79 spices and it’s so pretty and elegant looking.

Favorite Places In Paris To Know
If you are looking for a Parisian flea market to go to then head to the Marche aux Puces de Vanves. It’s about a 30-40 minute uber ride, right outside the main city center. This flea market is less crowded than the popular Saint-Ouen at Porte de Clignancourt.
I found so many treasures at this flea market and brought home what I could pack in my suitcase. Make sure to take cash though because most vendors only take cash and there’s only one ATM around that area we could find.
Don’t worry if you don’t speak French, there are always ways to communicate however it’s always best to know a little French, and very appreciated.
