Recently, I’ve had lots of questions in regard to ba&sh Paris sizing guide and how the pieces fit. Today, I am going to provide a guide to the ba&sh clothing pieces I own and describe how each piece fits.
ba&sh Paris Sizing Guide
Who Is ba&sh Paris
The line was started by two best friends, Barbara and Sharon= ba&sh, who wanted to bring their dream Parisian wardrobe to other women. It’s a brand described on its website as a company designed by women for women.
Ba&sh is distinctively Parisian with pieces I would describe as classic, and timeless, but also have a little bit of edge to them. There’s always a unique detail or fun element added to each of their pieces yet they still stay true to that Parisian vibe.
ba&sh Size Guide
Overall, I would say I take my normal size in tops and dresses unless the item is fitted, then I go up a size. For jackets/blazers, I size down as those tend to run large unless the item specifically says to size up.
On the ba&sh website next to each clothing item, they will list their sizing guide.
Make sure to check their size chart against what size you want to order to double check you are ordering the correct size. I think they are trying to keep the U.S. site more consistent with XS-L but just something to keep in mind.
ba&sh Shipping And Return Policy
Shipping to the United States is complimentary and will ship via DHL and will take 3-10 business days after a processing time of 1-3 business days.
ba&sh offers free returns within 30 days of placing your order but you must have an account with ba&sh in order to make a return. All the original tags must still be attached and the piece needs to be in its original condition.
At this time online orders may not be returned in stores and can only be done online.
You can also reach out to customer service via email and they are very responsive.
A Guide To ba&sh Sizing On Pieces I Own
These are the current ba&sh pieces I own and what size I am wearing in each. Some of the pieces are no longer available, but can still give you a reference for sizing when you are purchasing your own ba&sh pieces.
For reference, I am 5 ft. 5 1/2 inches, and a small in tops and 6 in bottoms. I do have a longer torso and shorter legs.
Dresses
This is the Anissa Dress I am wearing above in black in a size small with the Betty Belt in size 75. The color on the website says the belt is GRAY but it’s actually more of a suede tan.
ba&sh is known for its dresses and beautiful prints which are very eye-catching. I love the v-neck and the nip tuck at the waist on this dress which is incredibly flattering. It can be worn with a belt or without.
The Anissa is a classic dress that I am wearing now with sandals and can wear into the fall with tall boots and a leather jacket or black blazer.
Above, I am wearing Seyla Robe Dress in size medium, this dress ran a little small on me in the chest and waist area. The waist is a little cinched so keep that in mind when ordering. The dress has a beautiful eyelet detail and a bit of a puff sleeve detail.
Wearing the Kory Floral Midi dress in a size small, this dress is nice and flowy. A beautiful floral pattern that I wore with a short black jacket and tennis shoes and also a market tote with sandals.
Ba&sh dresses are some of my favorite pieces from the brand. I love the length of their dresses, the patterns, and the way they fit.
I feel ba&sh dresses are ones that are easily recognizable because they are staple pieces from the brand and always have amazing quality.
Skirts
The navy and ecru colors of the Harper skirt are beautiful and so chic looking. I am wearing a size 36, equivalent to a U.S. small for ba&sh sizes.
Sweaters
Wearing one of my favorite pieces, the Gaspard Cardigan in a medium. Such an incredibly gorgeous cardigan and worth the investment for sure. So classic, chic, and timeless looking, this is a piece I would even consider in the other color, black.
A great cardigan to wear on days when it’s a bit cool is this Novela Cardigan, I am wearing a small. It’s easy to layer with a t-shirt or tank underneath. I love the gold detail on the buttons and the openwork detailing makes it a great piece also between seasons.
Blazers
A classic black blazer that I have had for several years now, this specific one is no longer available. However, ba&sh always carries a classic black blazer as it’s a staple in women’s closets.
I am wearing a size small here. I will say sometimes the jackets can run very large and you definitely want to pay attention to sizing.
Sometimes in product pictures, they will tell you the size of the model. This helps at times determine what size to buy based on your height.
Jackets
For cool mornings and evenings, I wear the cropped Arna short denim jacket in a small. The jacket is not a true white but more of an ecru color.
The Joan Suit Jacket is a super chic piece to add for fall. The jacket is oversized, I am wearing an xs in the piece. Again, this is a jacket that can be worn for many years and is so classic looking.
It can be worn with a basic tee and jeans or a longer button-down and boots for fall.
The Isma Beige jacket is a chic cropped version of a trench coat that is super stylish and classic. I am wearing it in size 1 or a size small. This trench can be easily worn casually with denim or dressed up with trousers.
Tops
Here, I am wearing the ARY denim shirt in a small. This is one of those tops when I mentioned how ba&sh does unique detailing. This shirt has a kimono look to it with sleeves, something that stands out and is different.
Belts
Belts are an incredible way to elevate your outfit and ba&sh has some of the best selections of belts. I always go with the smallest size of the belt when I am wearing it around my waist, a size 75.
The two belts I am wearing above are the belt with buckle and the Betty belt.
ba&sh Borrow Program
Ba&sh has an amazing borrow program, where you can actually try certain pieces before you commit to them.
I have used this program for several items that I tried and actually ended up keeping because I loved them so much. It’s honestly a great way to try the pieces to make sure you love them.
All the items available to borrow will come up, you can see if your size is available and it will list how much it costs to borrow.
Usually, you have 14 days to borrow the item and at that point, you can either, extend your borrow, return the item, or purchase at a discount.
Classic ba&sh Pieces To Own
