Dress Like a French Woman

A Parisian-inspired one-page style guide for effortless, everyday dressing.

What I Wore In Provence

The weather in Provence was much warmer than in Paris, so I needed a much different packing list. My outfits were a combination of dresses, lots of linen, silk, and sandals. Overall, I was very pleased with the pieces I packed and wore for Provence.

Overall, I stuck to my Provence packing list, and was able to mix and match all the pieces. I was definitely a bit more casual in Provence than in Paris but still went with classic pieces to wear throughout the week.

I ended up only wearing two sandals the entire time with the exception of one outing. I wore these SƩzane sandals (normal size) and these VINCE sandals (normal size) the whole week and they were both extremely comfortable.

I carried two market totes, this one from Ba&sh Paris which held up extremely well, and another one I bought in Paris in April (it was a bit more fragile and I didn’t carry as much).

Here are the 8 outfits I wore in Provence

Provence – Day 1 Look – What I Wore

Ba&sh Paris DressSĆØzane SandalsBa&sh Paris Panier

On the first day, we took the train from Paris to Avignon and I wanted to be comfortable so I wore this Ba&sh Paris dress along with these SƩzane sandals, and Ba&sh Paris Panier.

Ba&sh Paris makes some of the loveliest dresses and I packed several for this trip in particular. They are lightweight, breezy, and comfortable to walk around in all day. I am wearing a size 2 here (medium).

Provence – Day 2 Look

Ba&sh Paris Eyelet Dress- SƩzane Sandals

Another light and breezy dress is this eyelet one from Ba&sh Paris which I am wearing in a medium, it runs a little small. I love the eyelet detail along with the little puff sleeve and cinched waist.

Again, I am wearing these SƩzane sandals in my normal size. They honestly go with every outfit I packed. I was a little worried about them not being comfortable enough but I was pleasantly surprised and wore them so much.

Provence – Day 3 Look

J.Crew Linen DressVINCE SandalsBa&sh Paris Panier

With the weather being so warm, I packed several linen pieces which were life savers. Linen to me is the easiest and coolest piece to wear during the warmer months.

On this day we walked into the town to grab pastries so I wore this J.Crew linen dress (size down), my favorite belt around the waist, VINCE sandals (normal size), and carried the Ba&sh Paris Panier.

Provence – Day 4 Look – What I Wore

We headed into Saint- RƩmy today for the market day so I wore navy linen shorts from Boden (True to Size), my favorite eyelet top from SƩzane, SƩzane sandals, and carried this Ba&sh Panier because I knew I would need a bag sturdy enough to carry things I purchased.

Provence – Day 5 Look

Cuyana Silk Pants– Staud Top- SĆ©zane SandalsFrench Market Tote

We went wine tasting on this day and I knew exactly what I wanted to wear for this. I paired these beautiful Cuyana silk pants (size small) with this Staud white top (size small) to stay cool and breezy.

I wrapped an old silk scarf around the French market tote I bought in Paris and finished with the SƩzane sandals.

Provence – Day 6 Look

Ba&sh Paris DressSĆ©zane SandalsFrench Market Tote– French Hat (bought at the farmers market)

Another one of my favorite dresses from Ba&sh Paris which I bought in Paris back in April. I’ve already worn this dress so much this Spring and Summer (wearing a small).

Finished it with a hat I bought at the market the day before, the French market tote, and SĆ©zane Olympe sandals. I love these sandals but honestly only wore them once, so they weren’t really necessary to bring along.

Provence – Day 7 Look

GAP Eyelet DressSƩzane SandalsBa&sh Paris Panier

This GAP dress (wearing a small) has been on my Summer list for a while and I actually only bought it a few days before the trip because it went on sale. It reminds me of a much more expensive dress I wanted last Summer but never bought due to the price.

The dress was perfect for a warm day of walking through another charming village and these SƩzane sandals were very comfortable for walking along cobbled streets.

Provence – Day 8 Look – What I Wore

SƩzane BodysuitSƩzane SkirtSƩzane SandalsBa&sh Paris Panier

For a day in Marseille, I choose to go with a very French look. This SƩzane polka dot skirt (True to Size), SƩzane bodysuit ( wearing a medium but could have gone with a small), SƩzane sandals, and Ba&sh Paris Panier.

Overall, I was extremely happy with my outfits and what I wore in Provence. You can see other outfits from the trip here, What I Wore In Paris Day 1-3.
