Dress Like a French Woman

A Parisian-inspired one-page style guide for effortless, everyday dressing.

La Fountaine De Mars

A true Parisian bistro and institution since 1908, with checkered curtains, and gingham tablecloths. Serves traditional French cuisine such as foie gras, casseroles, confit, and brings cornichons in a huge crock to your table. I had the confit and it was delicious. You can walk to the Eiffel Tower afterward.

Café Varenee

One of the most charming Parisian bistros, every detail is perfect. Sit inside or outside and you won’t be disappointed. The food is great, try the Chicken Ceasar Salad for a lite yet delicious bite. Go for coffee, lunch, or dinner.

Le Voltaire

One of Ina’s favorite restaurants in Paris is and for good reason. It’s quintessential French cuisine and an amazing experience. You must make a reservation here and I recommend it for later in the evening, and dress appropriately.

The food is incredible (try the Sole or Steak), and even the dish the butter came in was beautiful and memorable. Order every single course you can here because it’s well worth it, then walk it off back to your hotel or wherever you are staying.

Le Bistrot de Paris

Located in the heart of Saint-Germain and opened by Raymond and Michel OLIVER, from the Grand Véfour. This traditional French restaurant will have you wanting to come back for more. The service is incredible (all male servers) and the food is even better. If you’re a Créme Brûlée fan make sure to order if it’s on the menu.

I have eaten here twice and each time been more impressed. Make a reservation and dress appropriately. It’s very family friendly and as the night goes on, you will see the restaurant fill up with locals.
