Angelinas Paris
Famous Parisian tearoom known for its hot chocolate and pastries. This spot is touristy but if it’s your first time or you are with kids, this is a great place to start for breakfast.
There are several locations throughout Paris but the original is on Rue du Rivoli. Time of publication, they are only doing walk-ins.
Café Kitsuné
You can grab a coffee to go from here and go sit in the Palais Royal. That’s about all, I wouldn’t expect anything amazing out of this place. At least that’s what I go for.
Le Café Marly
Great place to get a view of the Louvre without having to actually go into the Louvre. You can dine in a gorgeous setting with the pyramid behind you. Go for a morning coffee or evening wine.
The food isn’t amazing nor is the service but if it’s your first time in Paris or you are with kids, this is a great place to go. You can make a reservation online or stop by.
Le Meurice Hotel
One of the prettiest settings for breakfast is the Le Meurice Hotel. Try and ask for the Versailles-inspired room with pastries by Cédric Grolet. Pricey but absolutely gorgeous and worth the experience. Also, an excellent place for high tea in the afternoon. Make a reservation online and dress appropriately.
Le Nemours
Located in front of the Palais Royal, Le Nemours is a brasserie with a great people-watching terrace. Start the day with a coffee before heading to Palais Royal or come later for wine and a salad.
Le Tout Paris
Beautiful rooftop restaurant inside Hotel Cheval Blanc offering incredible city views. Make a reservation and dress appropriately. Pricey meal but worth the view. Great place to start your time in Paris.
Lou Lou Paris
Fancy and delicious Italian food by the Louvre in an art deco setting on Rue du Rivoli. Sit outside if the terrace is open for incredible dinner views. This restaurant has great people-watching. Make a reservation and dress appropriately. Pricey meal.
Ritz Paris
Everything at the Ritz is very expensive but the hotel is beautiful and worth a visit. Go for lunch, a glass of champagne, or a nightcap at the Hemingway Bar.
L’Escargot Paris
A restaurant steeped in Parisian history since 1832. Decorated in ornate decor this a French institution known for it’s Burgundy Snails. If you’re not a fan of escargot, you probably want to skip this restaurant. I wouldn’t say it’s the best in Paris but it’s certainly memorable. And, if you do like escargot then you won’t be disappointed. You can make a reservation online but we also just stopped in and tables were available.
